Denmark&Me

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Denmark&Me ("the service"), operated by Denmark&Me I/S, Denmark. By creating an account you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Denmark&Me is a Danish language learning platform. We provide reading texts, vocabulary tools, and spaced repetition flashcards to help you learn Danish. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide a valid email address. We use it only for account-related communications (password resets, important service notices).
• You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its infrastructure.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute content from the service without permission.
• Interfere with other users' enjoyment of the service.
• Use the service for any commercial purposes, unless explicitly agreed to.
• Use the service in a way that violates, exploits, or circumvents any usage limits, rate limits, or terms applicable to third-party services or APIs relied upon by the service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Content

All reading texts, translations, and educational content provided by Denmark&Me are for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without written permission.

Vocabulary words and study data you create are yours. We do not claim ownership of your personal learning data.

5. Privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that translations will be accurate. Language learning outcomes depend on your own effort.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Danish law, Denmark&Me shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Danish courts.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a notice on the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
